Want To Be A Successful Sales Personnel?
Sometimes I really fed up with some sales personnel especially if you have an appointment with him at 1.00 pm and then at 12.55 pm, the sales person called you and said, “I was about to leave the office and will only reach the place we will be meeting at around 1.20 pm”.
Long story to be short, he did not show up at 1.20 pm and called us at 1.40 pm asking if we reach the place already or not and saying that he was right near by the traffic light that do not even need 5 minute to reach the destination.
We been sitting there for a freaking 45 minutes and he finally reached at 1.55pm. When he reached, no apology made no nothing at all! What the heck! I can tell you 100% that he is not suitable being a sales personnel. Why? let me list all the reasons and see how many can I list.
Reason for someone that can not be a successful sales personnel.
1. Please do not start your journey at the time you are suppose to meet your client as promise. Malaysia road is not a place that you can fly.
2. If you are not punctual, please do not be a sales personnel because you are wasting people time.
3. Do not call your client and keep on saying you are on the way all the time. It is indeed very rude when your client is waiting for you and you are still some where on the road or maybe still in the office.
4. If you done something wrong, please make an apology as your client will be expecting something from you back for their precious time waiting.
5. If you do not know about the thing you are selling, please do not simply throw out the information and give false information to your client.
6. ONE BIGGEST THING, please make sure your breath did not smell like death fish if you intend to stay being a sales personnel!
There you go, 6 reasons and I think I can still goes on with the list but not now. Got to work!
